For the “Social Media is cringe” people

Yeah… it is.

But so is every industry, every hobby, and every corner of life if you look at it through the wrong lens. There are cringey real estate agents. Cringey accountants. Cringey chefs. Cringey personal trainers. There are TV shows you love and TV shows you can’t stand. Foods you’d order every day and foods you’d never touch. People you admire and people who make you roll your eyes.

That’s just life, and social media is no different.
The negative, weird, try-hard stuff stands out because it’s loud. But the quietly cool, clever, respected stuff? That’s out there too. It just doesn’t shove itself in your face the same way.

So you’ve got two options:
You can hate on it from the sidelines, staying exactly where you are, being a silent fan of some and a critic of others, secretly wishing you had the guts to create the life you actually want.
Or… you can realise that the thing holding you back isn’t other people’s opinions. It’s the made-up, imagined opinions you think they have about you (which is really just you judging yourself.)

And while you’re doing that, you’re ignoring the incredible side of social media.
The side that’s probably made you laugh out loud at your phone when you were having a bad day.
The side that’s given you advice that stuck with you.
The side that’s taught you something you might never have learned otherwise.

Social media is a platform, the same way a stage is a platform. It’s not inherently good or bad. It’s just a tool. And if you use it with intention, it can be the place where your voice gets heard, your ideas get shared, and your work gets seen by exactly the people who need to see it.

No cringe. No fakery. No “look at me” energy. Just a redefinition of what cool looks like, showing up as yourself, consistently, with something to say.

Because in the end, it’s not about being the loudest.
It’s about being the most real. And in a world full of noise, that’s what people remember, trust, and buy from. That’s how you build a brand, grow a business, and create opportunities that turn into income, freedom, and the life you actually want.
